1. Cosmetic  Surgery  Procedures
    • Blepharoplasty  (eyelid  surgery)
    • Blepharoplasty, more popularly known as "eyelid surgery", is a procedure that focuses on pouches (also known as "fat bags"), sagging eyelids, and excess folds of skin, all around the eye area. It is usually an outpatient procedure, which can be done in 1 to 2 hours, administering local anesthesia to keep the patient awake. The effect, usually after 10 days of healing time: the patient looks younger and more energetic.

      Is blepharoplasty for you?

Any one or a combination of the following conditions may determine if you should start considering getting an eyelid surgery:

      • Puffiness on the eyes or "eye bags"
      • Sagging or drooping of an eyelid
      • Extra or loose skin on the eyelids
      • Wrinkles on an eyelid
      • Dark spots under the eyes

Blepharoplasty is one of our most popular choices, with which a brow lift, face lift, or skin resurfacing procedure may also be considered for best results.

    • Lip  reduction  and  lip  enhancement
    • Similar to fingerprints, no two lips are exactly alike. Each lip is subtly unique. Everyone appreciates a beautiful set of lips, and here at the Dr. Raul B. Guanzon Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center, we offer a number of techniques to help you get that perfect set of lips.

Because they are relatively minor, lip reduction and enhancement surgeries are usually done on an outpatient basis.

      Lip  reduction

Lip reduction is a surgical procedure to remove excess lip tissue to lessen its size. This is a noninvasive surgery, usually performed with local or regional anesthetics or may also involve oral sedation, which lasts from 15 to 30 minutes.

      Lip  enhancement

A lip enhancement procedure uses either synthetic or biological products, or both, to surgically restructure the lips. Like lip reduction, this is also a noninvasive surgery.

Some indicators for possible lip enhancement include:

      • Small lips
      • Deflated lips
      • Asymmetric lips
      • Drooping or sagging upper lip
      • Lack of color on lips
      • Lip wrinkles, usually caused by smoking or aging
      • Deformation by injuries

    • Mentoplasty  (chin  augmentation)
    • Mentoplasty is the procedure for altering the size and reshaping the chin to achieve facial balance and proportion. This procedure can involve as little as soft tissue augmentation through injection of synthetic or biological products. The procedure, which normally uses local anesthesia, usually lasts about an hour. Sometimes, however, when using general anesthesia, a 1- or 2-day stay at the clinic may be required. In addition to this procedure, you may also opt for a jaw or cheek augmentation to better enhance the facial features.

      Is mentoplasty for you?

With our patients' well-being foremost on our minds, we require an individual to be in good health, without any active or pre-existing medical conditions such as a bone disorder. It is also imperative that the patient should not have been on Accutane for the last six months, as Accutane has been known to affect bone growth and scarring after skin trauma.

    • Rhinoplasty  (nose  contouring  surgery)
    • Rhinoplasty, more popularly known as "nose contouring surgery", allows for the modification of the nose's shape and size. This delicately enhances your facial features without deforming your face. It may be done either from within the nose or from outside the nose. It typically lasts from 1 to 3 hours under general anesthesia, but sometimes it also uses local anesthesia and heavy sedation. Rhinoplasty can augment the nose; reduce its size; and modify the dorsum, nose tip, the width of the nostrils, the angle between the brow and nose, and the angle between nose and upper lip.

At our center, we offer different choices for nose contouring surgery, which include:

      • Alar  base  reduction -- For nostrils that are too wide
      • Alar  thinning -- Also known as "alar rim excision", this uses an alar base approach to gain access to the nasal rim.
      • Tip  plasty -- A procedure which involves changing the nasal tip by reduction, treatment, or mere refinement. This is usually done for large, square, bulbuous, upturned, or sagging nasal tips
      • Nose  augmentation -- A popular procedure among Asians and non-Caucasians, it reshapes flat noses; round, bulbuous nose tips; and flaring nostrils

    • Rhytidoplasty  (facelift  surgery)
    • Rhytidoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to remove the common and noticeable signs of aging, by dealing with the skin's wrinkles. This is usually done on an outpatient basis, under local anesthesia, usually with oral or IV sedation. The procedure lasts from 2 to 4 hours. The stitches are removed within 10 days from the time of the surgery, enabling the patients to return to their regular activities after 2 weeks.

We offer different options for facial surgery, namely:

      • Coronal  lift -- Also known as a "forehead lift" or "brow lift", this procedure condenses the face's lines and wrinkles, giving the upper part of the face a firmer and more youthful appearance.
      • Temporal  lift -- Also known as the "lateral brow lift", this is done by creating incisions at the temples, near the hairline. This deals with the tiny wrinkles on the forehead and at the corners of the eyes.
      • Neck  lift -- Used to improve the look of the neck, this includes a number of procedures, namely Botox injection, neck liposuction, or cervicoplasty, which lasts about 3 hours.
      • Total  facelift -- This is a surgical procedure involving all four areas of the face, namely the forehead and the upper eyelids, the midface and the lower eyelids, the lower face and lips, and the neck.
      • Partial  facelift -- A good alternative for younger patients who do not need a full facelift, this less invasive surgical procedure comes in one or any combination of the types of facelift other than the total.

  2. Body  Contouring  Procedures
    • Abdominal  lipectomy  (tummy  tuck)
    • Popular with women with loose skin tissue after pregnancy or with those who have sagging skin tissue following weight loss, the tummy tuck is a surgical procedure that removes excess fatty tissue and skin to craft the muscle around the abdomen.

A total tummy tuck may take anywhere from 1 to 5 hours, while a shorter procedure, or a mini tummy tuck, may be done in 1 to 2 hours.

What tummy tuck procedure is better for you?

      • Complete  tummy  tuck -- Better for patients who desire a level stomach, done by tightening the abdomen by altering the skin, the fat, and the muscles.
      • Mini  tummy  tuck -- Better for women who do not have stretch marks nor sagging skin but who would like to reduce the extra fat beneath the belly button.

These procedures can be done using general, local, or twilight anesthesia, all depending on the patient's needs and preferences.

    • Liposuction
    • Liposuction deals with the areas of the body where fats are usually stored, despite proper diet and exercise. It is one of the most common plastic surgery procedures. It creates remarkable changes to the body's contour by eliminating bulges of fat from different areas of the body, with negligible marks and quick recovery time, and at the same time does not change the muscle or skin tone. This procedure is usually done with local anesthesia for small areas, and sometimes general anesthesia for harder-to-reach areas.

      Is liposuction for you?

We offer several liposuction techniques, all of which minimize bruising and swelling for a relatively easy procedure on the patient.

Liposuction is not for people who are overweight or obese, as liposuction is a reshaping procedure and not a weight loss program. Candidates for liposuction need to have firm, elastic skin and need to be in good health. It is also suggested that the patients try to do away with their bulges through diet, exercise, and weight loss programs before considering liposuction.

    • Mammoplasty  (breast  cosmetic  surgery)
    • Mammoplasty is a procedure used to enhance the appearance, size, and contours of a woman's breast. There are three different types of mammoplasty: augmentation, reduction, and reconstruction.

      Breast  augmentation

Breast augmentation is a pretty straightforward and minimally noninvasive procedure. This is done by making a minute incision, where a silicone or saline breast implant is introduced. The size will depend on your choice, taking into account the amount of your existing breast tissue, height, weight, and body type. McGhan and Eurosilicone implants are employed, both with first-rate biocompatibility and cohesiveness.

      Breast  reduction

Breast reduction is frequently used for women with hefty, weighty breasts, who endure noticeable neck aches and back numbness due to their breasts' heavy weight. This procedure takes out excess skin, fat, and breast tissues.

      Breast  lift  or  mastopexy

Breast lift entails redraping the breast skin to give a youthful breast shape. This will also elevate drooping nipples, as well as perk up the contour and shape of sagging breasts.

  3. Skin  Rejuvenation  Procedures
    • Endowing you with the amazing impression of touch, your skin does a magnificent job of protecting you from the outside environment. Fortunately, thanks to its natural capacity to restore itself and to ever-shifting medical technology, we have a number of treatments available, all to revitalize your skin.

    • Chemobrasion  (skin  peeling)

Chemobrasion is a very natural skin treatment, employing powerful, pure fruit acids to help hasten the reduction of blemishes, wrinkles, and sun-damaged skin by persuading the skin to initiate a course of cellular rejuvenation.

It is a succession of peels to address skin conditions such as hyperpigmentation, irregular skin tone, freckles, and age spots. Also sometimes used to correct acne scarring, the procedure usually takes around 20 to 60 minutes.

    • Dermabrasion  (diamond  peel)
    • Dermabrasion is a trouble-free and effective approach to healthy, youthful skin. This procedure uses diamond-shaped microcrystals to expunge the epidermal layers in a controlled style at varying depths to renew and invigorate the skin.

Through mechanical alteration of the epidermis and shedding of the surface layer of dead skin, this is becoming a well-liked advanced method of addressing skin imperfections. It is seen as a gentle procedure with virtually no side effects. It is a completely noninvasive treatment, which immediately leaves your skin feeling smoother and softer.

    • Facial  spa
    • Establishing a tailor-fit, total analysis of your skin care, we offer our signature facial treatments designed to tone and nourish your skin and give you an uplifting and indulging experience.

A mainstay of our skin rejuvenation treatments, our facial spa utilizes essential oils, fruit inspired masks, and mud and clay preparations, all used to do a deep pore cleansing treatment, removing blackheads and impurities and leaving the skin smooth and toned.

    • Whitening  body  scrub
    • Another mainstay, the whitening body scrub is a popular spa treatment. Using natural essential oils, abrasive products are rubbed and massaged heartily on the skin, with an application of a natural bleaching agent. It is an invigorating scrub suitable and safe for just about everybody.

It is a great one-stop treatment, which fits well with other treatments, leaving you both looking and feeling good.

  4. Aesthetic  Laser  Treatments
    • Photoepilation  with  IPL  Quantum  HR
    • At our clinic, we bring into play IPL Quantum with the HR upgrade, a 3rd generation IPL, which is up to four times more powerful than other IPLs.

This is a noninvasive technique to permanently remove unwanted hair in any body location, clearing away vascular lesions and pigmentation on five different skin types. Photoepilation with IPL Quantum HR razes the hair follicles using controlled flashes of powerful light. Safe, efficient, with no downtime, the number of treatments depends on the body location and the type of hair and skin being treated. One may need an average of six treatments to benefit from a fascinating result.

    • Photorejuvenation  with  IPL  Quantum  SR
    • Also known as "nonsurgical facelift" or "nonablative skin resurfacing", photorejuvenation with IPL Quantum SR is another vanguard technological advancement that we do.

A gentle approach involving the use of intense pulsed light (IPL) is used to care for some skin conditions such as sun damage, sun-induced freckles, age spots, broken capillaries, telangiectasis, and most benign pigments, for a more even skin tone and an overall vivacity.

This may require anywhere from four to six treatments and this is regarded as very low-risk, safe enough to be utilized on the neck, chest, and hands.

  5. Other  Services
    • Massages
    • The oldest and simplest form of therapy, massage helps the body heal itself using the main element of touch, the essence of human contact.

More than our aesthetic procedures, our clinic also has an array of massages centered on your holistic well-being, namely:

      • Flab  reduction  with  massage
      • Reflex  massage
      • Shiatsu
      • Slenderizing/cellulite  massage
      • Swedish  massage
      • Thai  massage

    • Body  peel
    • Suitable for fair-skinned patients, it is a slightly stronger concentration of a combination of trichloroacetic and glycolic acids, intended to target areas of skin more resistant to treatment.

Aimed to improve the skin's texture and surface appearance, it leaves the skin with a more even tone and minimizes trails of sun damage. A light moisturizing cream is used on a daily basis to preserve its results.

    • Wart  removal
    • Among the number of over-the-counter wart treatments, the removal of warts by a dermatologist or a physician remains the most effective method.
